Hello and welcome to my Substack!

I’ve been writing short fiction for over ten years, and am now working on my first novel. I started work on this years ago, but progress was delayed by family health issues and a busy work project that ran throughout the Covid lockdowns.

Now, however, 2022 brings a new start to my writing.

I have time to write! After so many years, this feels like the ultimate luxury.*

While I start up, my Substack will be free to read and mostly links to my published fiction and general news — subscriber options and extra content will come in later.

However, I’m also writing over at Medium, where I’ll publish a journal charting my reading and writing journey, including the ups and downs 😉, definitely some good reads and links to other people’s work, some short fiction writing opportunities, and fun and friendship on the way - come and join me!
